"A LOCAL VOICE FOR MONTGOMERY COUNTY"

Dear Friends,

I am running for Montgomery County Council, District 2 and seek the opportunity to make a difference here in Montgomery County.  I am a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and live in Montgomery Village with my wife, Joyce Kraus Dyer, a lifelong resident of the County as well.  Between both of our families, we have called Montgomery County home for over three generations.

As a lifelong resident, I am committed to remaining in Montgomery County to raise my family, care for my parents in their eventual retirement, along with continuing to be near my extended family, and friends.    I continue to strive to make a difference in improving the quality of life for all who call Montgomery County home.

Montgomery County, District 2 needs leadership that is a local to the area and a leader who is familiar with all of our local issues.  Lastly, the County needs a leader who is able to work effectively with the State and Federal Governments, as well as with neighboring Counties in Maryland and Virginia, and the District of Columbia City Government.

I will fight for a better quality of life for your family and mine!

I look forward to the new challenges ahead in representing my fellow neighbors throughout District 2 on the Montgomery County Council. I will ensure the voices of District 2 are always heard, rights protected, as well as our tax dollars benefit our communities through vital transportation projects, schools and educational resources, public services and emergency response, agricultural industry assistance, recreation and public safety, homeland security and disaster preparation, crime and gang reduction, environmental protection, redevelopment and moderately priced housing.

Your voice will be heard on the County Council when I am your representative.

Let your voice be heard on Election Day.  I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event and look forward to your support!

Sincerely,

Scott R. Dyer
